Here's my first post. Been playing all sides for
awhile, like dragon the best, lotus the least
Spearman-Stun
sucks; use whirling spear combined with flashpowder
to totally gib nearby enemy units. I want to
thank Aderath for this strategy. It is great!
Their innate ability not having any negative
modifiers attacking higher units, either on
horseback or hills. Their upgrades suck; don't
waste the yang.
Archers-
I love this unit. Sometimes I just build up
a huge force of these with just fire arrows
and geisha as backup. Once fully upgraded, very
hard to beat. Had a force of about 18 archers,
5 geisha in the middle on Toads Hollow. Five
armies attacked, held off. Left with only an
archer, though. Zen arrow useful for scouting,
but I would rather use the Zen Master archer,
Utaru or something like that(I can't remember).
I prefer using the fire arrows for raids in
the beginning. Innate ability--Double damage
at full stamina, uses stamina to fire. Only
two upgrades. I get the more damage one first,
then range.
Chemists-Starburst
rockets are awesome! I don't really use these,
but when I do, I wonder why I don't. Their innate
ability is the speeding up of the healing of
nearby allies. I've read that they are good
for early rushes, and 5 starburts rockets will
take down a tower, which is a very good thing.
I believe that there is only one, which increases
damage and cause area effect damage.
Dragon
Warrior- I think that this is the best Dragon
unit. It has magical resistance, which is very
good against lotus players who have a thing
with 30something warlocks. Their flame blades
are excellant against werewolves(fur burns easily,
i guess). I don't like their invicible battle
gear. I dont see a use for it. Their innate
ability is to increase the damage of nearby
allies as long as they are attacking. So you
can't stick them near PK cannoneers, then shoot
a SK in hope is does more damage.
Kabuki
Warrior-One word: FLASHPOWDER! As most of you
know, stunned units recieve critical damage.
Combine with spearmen with whirling spear, and
voila'! Meat! Their innate ability is pleasing
the peasants, making them work faster. Doesn't
really matter, I think; most of the time, I
have a lot of extra resources. Good, but take
Ulaw's caution into mind: Don't make too many,
or you will be beat by a compentant opponent.
Samurai-Most
common word associated with this word: Sebuccah(I
think that is how you spell it; please correct
me if I'm wrong). They have a weakness to magic,
explosives, and fire, so all of the sides have
several counters. Dragon skin BG is useful when
approaching towers, either to attack, or give
a target for indirect fire. I use yang blades
in the beginning to quickly get points. I make
sure to have four in reserve at base, sitting
on the dragon monument as insurance. When they
are defeated, they commit sebuccah, damaging
nearby enemies, meaning that a force of 20 samurais
will die against a force of 15 samurais, and
vice-versa. The three melee fighters featured
above have upgrades at the dojo(increase health-3
yang), and the alchemist hut(increased damage-4
yang).
Powder
Keg Cannoneers-Slow, but powerful. Indirect
fire helps in stalemate, while super keg deals
with a compact enemy army. They occasionally
sprinkle salt, which puts white rings around
nearby allies, halfing the damage recieved next.
I put these in towers usually, just to keep
them safe until the assault if nothing else.
NOTE: Any of your units will easily out pace
him, so keep them together.
Geisha-After
being fully upgraded, can heal 5 times, but
requires energy. They don't do much damage,
and their role is healer, but I have trouble
keeping them out of combat. They are a little
less blood thirsty, but still blood thirsty.
Great unit, though, just put them on horseback
to keep them safe.
I'
m kinda tired of typing. Reply with any corrections
and mixed unit strategies and raid strategies.
